Hello,

I am trying to launch GUI transaction from Fiori launchpad as explained in How to Launch Web Dynpro ABAP and SAP GUI for HTML Application Types from the SAP Fiori Launchpad but getting error as,

File ui2/ushell/shells/abap/:80/ui2/nwbc/~canvas/transaction/APB_LPD_CALL_TRANS NOT found!

I already saw this discussion and verified config etc is in place.

Kindly let me know if anyone has solution on this error.

Regards,

Chandra

Hi Chandra,

How about launching GUI through URL. ? Did you check this approach also ?

http://yourdomain.com/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=HELLO_T_WORLD&sap-client=200&sap-langua...

HI Chandra;

Try changing the application type in LPD_CUST to URL instead of Transaction as shown below and provide the url as /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=HELLO_T_WORLD&sap-client=200&sap-language=EN

Save it and try again.

Yes it seems that with Application type URL is correct approach instead of Application type Transaction.

Comments section of has details on it.

More details can be found in

Basically with URL approach, we can launch any SAP GUI transaction(GUI for HTML), WDA, BSP and even ITS Mobile based Web applications.

Chandra

Chandra,

In my opinion this is a problem with your HTTP destination. Can you show a screenshot of the same? (SM59)

Hi Krishna,

system alias only shows entries as SAP_LOCALSYSTEM and SAP_LocalSystem and no other HTTP destination from SM59.

I am not sure what is the reason for it or is there any other setting which enables to show HTTP connection type into system alias popup.

But from above information, it seems application type URL is correct way.

Chandra

"ui2/ushell/shells/abap/" is somehow interpreted as hostname.

Please double check your lpd_cust settings.

Please share it if possible.

It should be soemthing like below

Hi Chandra;

Could you please check the network logs when you click on the Tcode tile in launchpad.

It could surely help you find out the area where the problem lies.
