Work Manager6.2/Syclo applications on SAP HANA database as backend

Hi Experts,

Does Syclo/Work Manager applications support SAP HANA database as back end system instead of ECC. If the back end system is SAP HANA, what is the impact of the syclo applications.If the customer has SAP HANA database and want to use Work Manager application, what are the configurations,connectivity settings ...etc that need to be done.

Hi Experts,

I have read in a document that "Syclo apps can run on Business Suit on HANA and

SAP HANA is not certified for deployment as a data repository yet for SMP 3.0. It is expected in the

3.1 version."

If syclo applications can run on HANA database, then does there will be any change in the connectivity,configurations...etc that need to be done for Work manager application specific.

SAP HANA support as an SMP 3.0 data repository was added in on of the Service Packs late last year.  You may need to upgrade your SMP3.0 Server depending on what version you are on now.

Agentry can connect to SAP HANA as a SQL Backend system.  Existing applications like Work Manager are built using a Java connection to SAP.  In terms of the products the answer will depend on a number of factors and that team will need to provide details as needed. 

If you have a specific need I would suggest contacting your SAP account team to discuss your options and next steps.
