How to restrict certain GLs for certain users for reversing FI documents

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to restrict certain users to post certain GL accounts in a particular CoCd?

For example, if GL "XXXXX" is involved in FI document then user A can reverse this document.

I have created a test role with authorization object "F_BKPF_BES" and assign a authorization group "ABC"  and transaction code FB08 in the role and assign the role to specific user A, same authorization group is also assigned  in control tab of GL master, but system is also allowing to reverse the document for other users.

Your early feedback would be highly appreciated.

Do want the restriction only happen during reversal or for all posting scenarios?

If for all posting scenarios, you can use the GL account authorization group.

however, if you want it only happens when doing reversal, you can use a validation rule.

Use the authorization group in document type in OBA7, but not in GL account.

Hi Kalim,

Create a set for the GL accounts and another set for user ids and create a validation in GGB0.
