I wanted to know what is the maximum number of digits a helper key figure can hold?

Hi Vijay,

The maximum number of decimals is 6.

In KF configuration UI you can define the number of decimal places to be displayed for each KF - this setting impacts the disaggregation behaviour. 

You can check for a detailed explanation and examples in the configuration guide.

Thanks for your reply. I also wanted to check on the number of unit digits. I have some calculations where results are exceeding more than 15 Digits (numbers like 2345691874028495 , when done offline in calculator). In my planning view I get the unexpected error message. Thus wondering if this is due to such a large calculated value.


PS : The above calculation is done in a helper key figure.

Key Figures data type is decimal 18,6. This must apply also to the helper KFs...
