Now, in my MDM console we only remain one repository named Test60,

Yes, in my "mds.ini" file we can find entry, but only one displayed as below:

[MDM Server\Databases\Test60.......].

We try agian to create one repository, let's say test100, system still give us warning message: this repository already exists, so we are totally confused and think:

We cannot use the name of deleted repository for a new one.

We cannot use the port of a deleted repository for a new one.

Actually, we can not find Database folder under MDM server, but we can find Data folder under Microsoft SQL Server where we can see a lot of files for repositories. Kindly attention, what we mentioned files above, all in this folder.

Thanks a lot.

But, when we go to Database folder, we can see two different files format, one is Ldf and the other one is Mdf. e.g

BusinessPartner_m000.Ldf;

BusinessPartner_m000.Mdf;

BusinessPartner_Z000.Ldf;

BusinessPartner_Z000.Mdf;

1) Who can explain, why we have 4 files for one repository and what the files format "Ldf"and "Mdf" use?

We can also see other files like A2i_xCat_DBs.Ldf, A2i_xCat_DBs.Mdf, master.mdf, mastlog.ldf, model.mdf, modellog.ldf, msdbdata.mdf, msdblog.ldfm, tempdb.mdf, templog.ldf;

2) Who can explain something about the files above mentioned? Can we delect all files in this databased folder?

3) If we want to delect one repository in MDM console, the whole process like below, if our logic is incorrect, please help to correct.

a. Delect this selected repository;

b. Go to MDM server folder, respectively delect relevant files in the Accelerators and Distributions folder;

c. Go to Database folder, delect relevant files.

Who can confirm my logic, whether it is right or not?

In your "mds.ini" file should be an entry that's begin like this:

[MDM Server\Databases\Test001.......]

You can use the name of deleted repository for a new one.

You can use the port of a deleted repository for a new one.

Greeetings.

Thanks. But do not understand what you mean?

1) I check my understanding, delete one ini file under directory Server, actually we can find a lot of ini file under Server.

2) You mean mount a different port, but if I want to use the same port of delected respository, is it possible?

Please expain more details!
