How to create a query page

Hi Expert,

I have a requirement to create a query page, like in the screen shot below.

The query parameters would be like date range, relative period (eg, current month, last month, last quarter, etc) and other OVS.

Once the user click on "Go" button, an action would be triggered, which will retrieve data from a custom BO and other standard data sources, business logic and calculations.The result would be display in the AdvancedListPane.

I have created a custom BO to include all the query parameters and result. However, when i tried to select "relative period" (a custom codelist), i got an error message.

Can someone give some guides on how to fulfilled such requirement?

HI Julius,

I have the feeling your requirements can be met, however you need a different approach - the way you have put your requirements is probably not supported by the framework.

However there is an excellent document created by Thomas Zwerg describing how queries with relative time periods are implemented:

I have the feeling you need to have a look at that document and then modify your approach using the method shown by Thomas.
