BO - IDT script generation issue

Hi,

When i click "SHOW SCRIPT for an Object, An alias is created for  tables automatically,

For Instance, Table_89 alias is added for Database table Name - ABC

and Table_6 alias is for database table name - XYZ

This is happening for all the tables and Objects in the Universe.

Can you please advise, why alias is adding automatically for any table.

Hello,

I experienced that when creating Calculated Columns in the DFX tables. Other response can be the DFX parameters, go to DFX file, select "Data Foundation" then click on the Data Connection. In the Properties window, click on "Parameters..." and see if exists some Parameter in Bold - That show the custom parameters on the Universe.

What is the underlying database? What version, support pack and patch of BusinessObjects are you using?

The universes that I work with are based on SQL Server. We are on 4.1 SP01 Patch 6 and I am not seeing this behavior.

Thanks for your response Noel.

Database : HIVE 0.12

BO Version : 4.1 SP6 patch 1.

I have another universe on Teradata. Even, i do not see this behaviour on TERADATA universe.

We are doing Business Objects POC on HIVE. And, i am observing this behaviour.
