Hello Experts,

We already have a Agentry Service Manager runnning on SMP 3.0. I am planning to upgrade the agentry project to latest service pack released last month. I have ready have eclipse setup on latest SDK and SMP on another machine. Can someone confirm the steps required to deploy the app to a new SMP 3.0

1) Export the project from the old workspace (agxz file)

2) Import the project (agxz) in to the new eclipse

3) Build and check for no errors

4) create an application on SMP cockpit

5)  Deploy a development publish to the folder ?

6) Login to ATE and test the application

Please let me know if I have missed any steps here ? Any suggestions highly appreciated

- Kevin

Kevin,

Looks good to me.  Are you also upgrading the SMP3 server as well to the latest service pack/patch?

This is of course assuming you are looking to migrate to a new environment rather than upgrading your existing environment.

Thanks Bill, I was able to import the agxz file build and deploy the application.

One quick question will be do I need to re-compile and update the jar files also(Java source). Since this is a platform update, I need to update Java libraries on SP10 ?

No, you don't need to update the Agentry application Jar files.
