Production order confirmation problem

Hi all,

I am facing a problem in saving confirmation for the production order. and system is showing the following error.Please suggest the possible solution. What changes have to be made in material master for Batch management for the following problem?

Hello,

Batch creation KZECH is set in the material master for a component Batch entry = 2 in MRP 2 view and material in WM managed. You can change it to 3   Automatic batch determination upon release of order.

Or Implement OSS note  381778 - Confirmation: no batch determination for WM materials

Dear Prasad Inamdar,

Hope you are doing the Auto GI / GR against the production order through the confirmation

the material is batch enabled hence please maintain the Batch number in the production order(CO02) --> component overview

Dear venkatesh Sir,

In storage location stock is there in 3 batches with Unrestricted type. But when manually i entered this batch no and storage location in production order, system is showing a msg batch not found.

But already there are three batches are there.

I am not understanding why this batch managed stock is not allowed for this production order.

Is that material stock exist with the same batch number ??

Please check this material, plant, Batch, Storage location combination in the MSC2N Transaction code..

and observe any other status has been defined for this batch

Hello Prasad,

As per your second picture of error, It's clearly mention " No batch Specified in Production order"

Please assign the batch against the prod order and check once again .

please copy and paste the batch number

sometimes batch numbers are case sensitive
