I am in the blueprinting stages and have not launched yet. My legacy system attaches unique id's for each ship to of a customer (aka Business Partner). In SAP, ship to's do not have unique identifiers. The address ID would equal the ship to name in my legacy system. My issue I am having is if I uploaded all my ship to 's for my business partners now and they change between now and when I launch in february, what is the best way to update the changes if there is no linking unique identifier between SAP and my legacy system? We are trying the DTW address template where we use "LineNum" to equal the SAP db number, but it errors out that line 62 is empty. Even though we try with one or two ship tos to update as a test.
Hi,
Please post your error message with few lines of DTW template to check.
Thanks.

Hi Jonathan,
It has been suggested to SAP to add uniquer identifiers to addresses. Please vote for the idea.
Currently however you are going to have to come up with an operational work around. For example prepare all necessary import templates, test updating address information, etc. perhaps you can maintain a unique identifier in your template Excel files, update these files as needed, and only perform the actual import / update at the latest possible opportune moment, or as few times as possible.
Regards,
Johan
