Need to force default planning plant on task list creation without letting it copying from the equipment

Hello Gurus,

   Is there a way that I can force the default planning plant on task list creation without letting it copying from the equipment.

currently it copies from the equipment and grays that out and wont letting me change it.

Please let me know if there is a way to do that?

Hello Raneetha,

I do not think that is possible through customising.

-One way you can have a different value from the Equipment master is to:

• First change the value of Planning plant in the Equipment master and Save.
• Create and Save the Equipment-Tasklist (with this changed value of Planning Plant)
• Then change the Planning plant value back to Original value in the Equipment master if it is required.

-Secondly, see whether the solution given by Ziv  here using GuiXT works for you.

-And yet another way is to go for Transaction variant thorough SHD0 (I've doubt here too about the overriiding by the Equipment Planning Plant value).
