Unable to refresh the cache in ECC 5.0 using sxi_cache transaction

Hi Experts!!!

<b>I have installed SAP XI over ECC 5.0, have a problem to refresh the cache in ECC 5.0 using the sxi_cache transaction. I am able to use the same transaction in SAP XI , its working fine, but unable to refresh in ECC 5.0.

Error : unable to refresh in RED color.

Start delta cache refresh and start complete cache refresh are disabled.</b>

Hello Sunil, did you find the solution?

We have exactly the same problem . All checks and RFCs are correct, but options to refresh cache on transaction SXI_CACHE are disabled.

Hi Sunil,

Did you see this message:

Maybe the following steps (mentioned in this message) help you:

1. http://host:<j2ee-port>/rep/support/admin/index.html

2. Select Cache Overview

3. In the section: Java VM Cache Refresh, click Refresh Cache for

- Cache for Softwarecomponents

- SLDcCache

4. In the section: Xi Data Cache Refresh, click Full Cache Refresh

for Consumer types:

- INTEGRATIONSERVER_

- INTEGRATIONRUNTIME_

- af.sid.host

5. On the ABAP client, go to SXI_CACHE for the XI Runtime Cache and

just to be sure, select XI Runtime Cache -> Start Delta Cache Refresh.

Another thing might be to check the RFC connection INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI that is used for the cache update: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/8f/770f41218ff023e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
