Connecting ERP 6.0 to external DB2 AS400 Database

Hi,

We need to connect ERP 6.0 EHP7 Windows/Oracle to DB2 Database running on AS400 Server.  We define a database connection using transaction DBCO.  In the Default profile was added the line: dbs/db4/driver_type = XDA.  When we test the connection with ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION program is displayed the message: successfully opened, however when  a Abap program execute a query the program keep waiting indefinitely.

How could find what happened with the connection.  How could generate a trace or log.

According with note 1257635 the only supported database driver  for IBM i V7.1 is XDN, so had to change to this driver.  We installed SAP Host Agent in the AS400 manually and run the command R3SAP400/SAPINST to start the XDN listener.
