ESS other bank Account number issue

Hi all,

I am facing a issue with editing the other bank details. There is a validation for the account number that it should contain only up to 17 characters. Even if the extra digits are removed, it is still showing the same error. This is happening only for some employees.

Could anyone help me on this?

do you get error in backend system, usually validation comes from

OY17 or you are using any exit EXIT_SAPLSSRV_002? numbers are checked by function module BANK_ACCOUNT_CHECK

The issue is resolved.

It happened for employees whose data have been migrated with a third part tool. They have fixed the issue with that tool.
