MCBE does not show any result for some materials

Hi,

I execute MCBE for several materials getting SAP Error M5017 "It does not exist any data for this selection" while for the same materials when I execute MB5L or MB51 for the same period I got results. Why this could happend for some materials? Any clue on this?

See note 429980. It sounds to a problem triggered by asyncronous update.

Hi Paty,

Can be an authorization issue. Have you checked SU53 right after getting this message?

Can be also some of user exit or formula in update definition which makes this trick. E.g. substituting the plant or the date...

You may check what the simulation transaction MCVW tells you for some example document; shall the document update S031 and with which values.
