Unable to create a server in IDE

Hi,

I am new to HCP and in the process of setting up my IDE .

When I click on the servers  I am not able to see the SAP folder in the server tab of eclipse.

I can only see the Apache, Basic and ObjectWeb folders

Has someone faced this issue , and can please suggest how to overcome it ?

Do you install the tools?

If yes, then attach here the log file of your IDE to look for errors.

I have installed the tools as per the attachment . 

Can you please tell me where I can locate the IDE log files ?

Also my operating system is windows 10 . could this be an issue ?

Yes, this is actually the problem.

There have some incompatibility in tools that prevent them to work on windows 10.

There is a workaround, that disables the debugging feature (that causes the problem). The details are described here:

Hi Dobromir,

I confirmed that windows 10 was the issue by repeating the tools installation in a Windows 7 system .

Here I did not get above issue and I was able to see the SAP folder.

I will try the workaround you have suggested for windows 10 and let you know .
