Dear Experts,
I have a requirement where I need to create some new work centers, the only information client has provided is the rate that is in $/KG and $/L.
I have asked for the parameters that he would like to enter in the work center.
I am confused about the unit to be entered in KP26 for eg it is in Hour for most of the activities at present.
Can anyone help me in this issue as I am stuck due to confusion like what pre requisites I will need from client and the approach to create the workcenters.
Thanks
Anand
Hello
We can create new Standard Value Parameter in OP17 with UOM L or KG and assign the same in OP19 .We can define the formula based on this parameters in OP21.
This formula will result the value in KG or L (generally it will be in Hrs or Min ) for which we can maintain the activity rate in KP26.

Hi Velmurugan,
Thank you very much for replying.
I have created a scenario as per ur suggestions.
Here, the operation details I would like to share with u.. Kindly have a look and suggest me if they are correct
1. Base qty= X
2. Act./Operation UoM=L(litres)
3.Setup time=X MIN
4. Variable machine time=X H
THis is considering the Litre case. Is this correct?\
Activity unit in KP26 is H(hours). and the rate is also maintained.
Thanks
Anand
Hello Anand,
Have you created new standard Value key in OP19 and assigned Parametrs created in Op17.This Parametres UOM only we have to define as L or KG.
Step : 1 create Std Value parameters as below.
For example create below parameters in Op17
Setup -- ZSAP01 - Time
Var Parameter1 ZSAP91 - UOM-KG
Var Parameter2 ZSAP92 - UOM-L
Step 2 :
Assign this to New standard value key (OP19) eg : ZSAP9
Step 3: Create formula based on this Parameters in OP21
ZSAP21 * SAP_09 / SAP_08
Step 4
Once you assign this Standard value key in work center Basic data.
And formula in Costing View
Step 5:
Create new activity type and main Activity rate in KP26
This will help you to give activity rate in L or KG in production order or costing report.
