Pre DME program RPCDTCU0 failing with dump 'IMPORT_FORMAT_ERROR'.

Hi experts,

Need your help here.

The standard program RPCDTCU0 runs every week in our Prod system and is started as multiple batch jobs.

Every week one of the jobs fails because of 'IMPORT_FORMAT_ERROR' .

I looked at the ST22 dump log and it says :

"When attempting to IMPORT the object "NRCT", there was a format error.

Unable to read an IMPORT dataset.

The dataset may have been processed using SQL and is

thus no longer readable for the IMPORT."

Please note that the object  mentioned is different in those different dump logs that happen every week. In last week's dump , it mentioned "TCRT".

I am unable to figure out what is causing this issue.

Looking at that source code extract, it points at the Macro statement:  rp-imp-c2-ru where it fails.

I have attached the ST22 dump log.

Please help as this is required ASAP.

Hi Rahul,

Please check the pernr 10148 as this pernr is logged in the dump and try to run the program on this pernr, see if you get the dump again. If you get the dump then probably check the payroll results especially NRCT table. Check if wrong wage type is assigned in NRCT table.

Also debug it with the help of ABAPer on the pernr 10148.
