Dear All,
Is it possible to extract data from #SAPHANA.
We have a requirement to extract some table, view from SAP HANA database (sidecar system) to SAP SSM 10.1 SP09 (SSM is using Oracle as database.
Regards,
Rafikul
We are able to create the LINKID successfully by using 32bit ODBC & now fetching data from HANA system to SSM.
Thanks all for your suggestions.
Regards,
Rafikul

Hello Rafikul,
SSM is using NW JAVA.
There are usefull info in Master, Installation and Config Guides;

I could not go into detail and find direct solution to your answer but since it is a NW Java system, there must be a way to connect to HANA DB and extract DATA.
At least you can use DB Connect on NW system.

Dear Yuksel,Dimtry,
Thanks for your reply.
I have gone through the documents, but there is nowhere its clearly mentioned to extract HANA data to SSM 10.1 SP09.
I did some investigation on it, I made a SYSTEM DSN, ODBC connection in PAS server. Installed the 32 bit HANA client. Now when I am trying to create the LINKID from PAS server got one "architecture mismatch error"
Any comment.
Dear Michael,
Thanks for your replay.
I already tried that 64 bit HANA client. But it's have the same message. So here is the thing related to bit
- I used 64bit ODBC manager to create the connectivity. (I am using this 64 bit because my source is 64bit, SAP HANA)
- Tried HANA 32 bit or 64 bit client

Rafikul Hussain
Hello again
Make sure that you are using DSN for the correct version of the driver. This error is because it is trying to load the wrong driver.
It is possible to have the 32bit version and 64bit HANA client on the same machine, but it is unwise to configure a DSN with the same name for both.
Michael
I used the 32 bit ODBC as per suggestion from SAP and create the System DSN. Now when try to create the LINKID via PAS on first test it shows connecting successfully but don't show the link. On second time when I tried the test button got another error. I have tried with both HANA 32,64 bit client but same message.
