notification start date, start time and priority

Hi Gurus,

I have queries on service notification and service order:

Service notification:

When I create the notification I give start date as 21.10.2015, Start time as 16:00:00 and priority as 1 - very high and press enter. After we press enter, it asks do you want to specify new dates? If I say Yes it proposes all the dates and times but it over writes the dates and time I maintained. My requirement is that system should not change the start date and time I maintain and propose the end date n end time based on priority and the date time entered.

Service order:

When I convert this notification to order, the basic start and basic finish are not copied from the service notification but it takes the work center start time .

Hello Smart kumar,

If you want to dis-engage the automatic Start /end dates according to Priority,

Refer to the part 1.SPRO: Define Priority  of this document: Automatic Task Determination in Notifications . You need to remove the entries of the Priority type assigned to your Notification type from this screen.

(Here the Priority type is 'AC'. You need to remove entries for your Priority type).

For the Second Query (Service Order dates):

The setting is in tcode OPU7.

Here opt for option 'Do not adjust basic dates, dep.reqmts to order start' in the Adjust scheduling area and 'Forwards' in Scheduling type field.
