Hi All,

Our current production system is on 7.00. We will enable it for SQLM by a kernel patch (SAP Note 1824769).

SWLT will be running on 7.40.

Is it possible to import SQLM results from 7.00  into SWLT on 7.40?

Kind Regards

Edmond Paulussen

Dear Edmond,

yes, this is possible.

  1. To achieve this, a snapshot of the monitored SQL data has to be created and then exported from the production system.
  2. Afterwards, the SQL Monitor snapshot has to be imported into SQL Performance Tuning List in the relevant 7.40 system.
For that, you will go to transaction SWLT and select the SQL Monitor panel --> Data Source  --> Manage/Create Snapshots).

Information about the creation, export and import of snapshot in SQL Monitor can be found here:

Kind regards,

Carine
