UA Server nto starting

When i start the UA Server i am getting a error and the UA Server is not starting.

Pls help me in that

can you send me the log files. The developer trace files which are located in the work directory.

Hi,

It depends.

If error is while staring dispatcher, then dev_dispatcher.

If error is while staring server, then dev_server.

Also you can see dev_jcontrol.

If the error is with sdm, then dev_sdm.

While installing look into sapinst.log or sapinst_dev.log.

You can also look for trace files under cluster/folder.

These log files are the key to solve the problem.

ya. I am working on Upgrade from Nw2004 to Nw2004s.

Teh OS is windows 2003 Server SUpport pack 1

hi,

create directory D:\usr\sap\put

open command prompt

goto upgrade master path

type prepare.bat D:\usr\sap\put

then goto

D:\usr\sap\put

(check java version 1.4.2 or more )

java -cp ua.jar UaServer

(server will start, if any errors let me know )

open command prompt

java -cp uagui.jar UaGui
