Rounding value at cancellation goods issue/cancel confirmation production order

Dear Sap Expert

I’ve problem regarding rounding value at cancellation goods issue/cancel confirmation production order, why the difference exist? although I’m using standard price, cancel at the same posting date and document date.

Price for material             : Rp 11.854.563

Price unit                             : 1000

I’ve done goods issue material for 8 qty: (8*11.854.563)/1000 = Rp 94.836,504

                Raw mat Expense            94.836

                      Inventory Raw Mat        94.836

But when cancelation document for 8 qty: (8*11.854.563)/1000 = Rp 94.836,504

                Inventory Raw Mat         94.837

                      Raw Mat expense         94.836

                      Difference                         1

Please help why SAP rounded the value at GI and GR with difference? Is this sap standard behaviour or not?

Hello Luis,

Please check the note 212286, especially for the below part:
212286 - Overview note: Valuation during goods movements


For materials controlled by standard price, receipts are posted with
proportion to the price but issues are posted with proportion to the
value.

Formula for the value determination with proportion to value:

Value of stock posting =
(Total value of stock * quantity) / entire valuated stock

Formula for value determination with proportion to price:

Value of stock posting =
(Standard price * quantity) / price unit

Due to this calculation logic difference, the rounding difference is reasonable.

Thanks for your answer , but I think this note more suitable 216080, and we must accept that rounding formula by SAP .
