Catalog is Not Showing in Fiori launchpad

Hello Colleagues,

Assigned the Role, activated all services for launchpad, Even the designer can show the catalog and Group.

But not able to see the catalog in launchpad. Even the /sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_PERS/Catalogs service is not showing that catalog.

Please advise what can be issue?

Hi Rohit,

Did you add the catalog to the role menu in PFCG and then assign the role to your user in su01?

Meanwhile, please clear the caches to see if it helps.

Hi Jessie,

The catalog is already assigned to role and role is assigned to user.

/sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_PERS/Catalogs service is showing other catalogs but not the one i have added.

Hi Rohit;

Could you please check whether the role is properly assigned to the user. (User Comparison is done)

Try assigning it to some other id and test.

Also clear the cache. The issue could be because of cache.

1.Clear the server http cache

Go to the transaction SMICM. Goto -> HTTP plugin -> Server cache -> Invalidate Locally and Globally.

2. Clear metadata cache

Transaction: /IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP on Gateway

Transaction: /IWBEP/CACHE_CLEANUP on Backend and Gateway

3. Synchronize chip cache

Run the report /UI2/CHIP_SYNCHRONIZE_CACHE. Make sure there is no error in the table /UI2/CHIP_CHDR

Run the report /UI2/DELETE_CACHE_AFTER_IMP.

/UI2/DELETE_CACHE

4. Run cache buster

Run the report /UI5/UPDATE_CACHEBUSTER.

5. Clear local browser cache

6. Fiori personalization is also stored in the web Dynpro personalization table. We can use the wd config tool for deleting the same and resetting it for all the end users.

7. Cache also need to be deleted from the table CHIP_CACHE_STAT

Its in production system and donot have authorization to do all this, Is there any other way to solve this issue.

How can this be done? Removing entry from table is not possible? How can i update it?

This wont be possible in Production I guess.

You can perform all other steps and try.

Hi Rohit;

Please use the report /UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES also.

it was helpful in the below mentioned thread about similar problem

Hi Sarb,

There was a issue with the Catalog in Role, in the Object there was ? after the catalog name which was creating the issue.
