Issue in PR from Sale order in mrp run

Hi All,

I am facing one issue,

I have created a Sale order( customer order), and we are running the MRP in background for every 24 hours.

my issue is, For the sale order the Purchase request created after 20 days.

i am confusing in this. can anyone help?.

Hello,

Check the planned delivery time. Maybe the replenishment order can not be created earlier because of the planned delivery time.

If this is not the solution, it would help if you can share with us the MRP views of materials master, MD04.

Probably the flag "start in the past" was not checked on the customizing transaction OPPQ. In this case, system cannot create a replenishment proposal with the start in the past, therefore, it set the start date as today and calculates the end date based on the planned delivery time or in-house production time.

It can be  also because of the lead time in MRP3 view.

Hi Siva

There is not enough information to answer your question. Is this a MTO or MTS order? Which MRP type are you using? Did you note if the material was planned by MRP during these days? Can  you please share a screenshot of MD04/MD05?

Maybe, the planning file was not marked when the sales order was created and the material was planned by a NEUPL MRP run later. If this is the case, we will never be able to prove, as there is not enough information on the system.
