Hi,
Is there a way to do create different types of purchase orders on SAP?
For example, a purchase order which allows the booking of an invoice for a regular service each month. (Reoccuring purchase order). Business scenario: The rent of a building each month for an ongoing and unknown length of time.
Jay
Hi Jay,
do you need a seperate purchase order all the time? Maybe you can use the recurring invoices for this scenario? Please check the help document: "Quick Guide for Recurring Invoices (in Supplier Invoicing)"
Thanks and best regards
Kai

HI,
Thank you for suggestion but recurring invoice is not some
thing of use to us in this scenario.
What I am trying to achieve is to avoid the need to get approval for invoices everytime a regular invoice is received (For example Rent). There has to be a way to specify that this is a regular service and approved via relevant approvers once in a purchase order.
Jay
Dear Mr. Jay,
The recurring PO is not available in the current version and this is the standard system behavior.
If you are having problem with approval, then we suggest you modify your condition such that the system will post the invoice provided it doesn't have any exceptions.
Instead create a limit PO with GSR and try invoicing once a month manually
