Dear All,
I was trying to find how can we connect SSM to HANA. I know there is ODBC connector, but need some more detail on it.
Secondly, how would the data be pulled without having BW system on HANA. Will it through procedures in PASS or any other tool ?
Thanks
Muhammad,
My understanding is that HANA is ODBC compliant and therefore you should be able to treat it as 'just another datasource'.
Allow HANA to 'crunch' the larger volumes of transactional data to deliver the aggregated values you want to include in SSM. Then create a procedure to load that output via a procedure into PAS.

PAS can use a LINKID pointing at an ODBC connection to read almost any RDMS. You write a PAS proc to read the database and in the proc you embed a SQL statement. The result set loads to the PAS model. The PAS help includes examples of this.

Dear Muhammad,
Yes its possible.
Via ODBC & also via BODS. Soon you are able to play with it
