I have a problem in configuring the TREX RFC connection. Whenever I restart the server trexrfc.ini file is getting updated with hostname.ipaddress instead of ip address. So everytime I have to go there and change the name with ipaddress.
Could you please suggest me how to resolve this issue.
1. Trex instance DNS resolution or local host enter is correct?
2. If possible recreate the RFC, before that take the backup of business index objects using the python scripts. refer the SCN link with configuration parts
Thanks for your reply, Actually I always use ip address while creating RFC connection.. Also recreation is not possible.. Because its in use.. Do I have to check or change the settings in anywhere else? could you please suggest.
In transaction code SM59 you can find it in host name, within the SAP application(From ABAP stack to Trex RFC) it will communicate with host name not through IP. Could you share the information with detail snapshot?
