Hi,
Does SAP support changing document object for Handling Units?
I would like to store the information about the moment
of changing HU status in HUSSTAT table.
Currently, when HU status gets changed (for example
we load HU with LM31) we have no information
about the time of this operation. The only information
is stored is for example (SE16 > HUSSTAT)
OBJNR | STAT | INACT | CHGNR |
---|---|---|---|
HU000105000 | I0514 |
However - table HUSSTAT contains field CHGNR
which can be used to identify change document.
Unfortunattely - I don't know how to activate it.
There is a transaction SCDO which contains object
HANDL_UNIT.
When I select it - I see the following information:
The problem is that these settings do not activate change documents for
objects HUM. When I display HU i see:
The information about the date and time of changing
HU status is very important.
Any ideas how to force SAP to start filling HUSSTAT-CHGNR?
Thank you,
Kordian
Hi Kordian,
When I check 'where used list' for this field HUSSTAT-CHGNR, I could find the following programs:
RHU_AR_DELETE_DECENTRALIZED_HU Handling Unit Archiving: Delete Decentrally-Deleted HUs
RHU_AR_DELETE_EWM_HU Report RHU_AR_DELETE_EWM_HU
So, i think this field is more relevant only in EWM & DWM scenario's. Do you have these scenario's in your system to check whether any HU has been filled with values for these HU's.
Thanks & regards,
Balaji

Hi Balaji,
Thank you for your help. I think that change documents in HU status are
not possible.
Here's a good expanation
Change Documents in HU status management | SCN
It's really strange that we are not able to store date and time
of changing HU status. For example - when HU is loaded
(I0514 status) and moved onto truck I would like to know
the exact time as it is important.
Solution
The only solution I found is to build custom RF application
(quite simple) for changing HU status and then record the
moment of that in Z-table. And this is what I'm going to do
to resolve the problem.
