Hi,
We are facing below issue in SAP PI PRD system.
Scenario is File to Proxy created using ICO
Issue : Source file adapter - All erroneous files are getting archived in folder specified to Archive Faulty files but Duplicate Files are not getting archived and remains in same source folder which prevents processing of other files as well?
Details below:
Transport Protocol: File Transport Protocol(FTP)
Message Protocol: File Content Conversion
Archive Faulty Source Files: Ticked
Directory for Archiving files with Errors:Folder path specified.
Add Time stamp: Checked
Enable Duplicate Handling: Checked
Duplicate message Alert threshold: 0
Please help us in sorting this issue(Duplicate files not getting archived)?
Let me know in case any other details are required from my end.
Regards,
Sarvjeet
Hi Sarvjeet,
'Achieve Faulty Source Files' moves the file in case there is any error in it - not considered it is duplicate.
You have to create a lookup/module to store and check the file names are duplicated or not.

Sarvjeet,
The duplicate message is identified by the last modified time stamp of the file.
Check if the FTP server is assigning new modified timestamp when you copy the same file each time to the FTP folder. If this is the case then PI file adapter duplicate check will not work.

Hi Arun,
Duplicate file check is working fine and Adapter(channel) is error status due to this.
But Issue I am facing is that these duplicate files are not getting Archived in Archive folder specified to archive faulty files but all other erroneous files (data issue) are getting archived.
Regards,
SV
