MATERIAL_MAINTAIN_DARK - default MARM-VOLEH

Hi,

I create Material Master Data by using MATERIAL_MAINTAIN_DARK. This data contains MARM-records with LAENG, BREIT, HOEHE, MEABM but with empty VOLUM. Obviously, the VOLUM has been calculated, because after posting, it is filled. Up to now, no problem.

The problem is: The calculated VOLUM has the strange VOLEH (volume unit) 'CYD' and until now, I did not know that this unit even exists, because we do not use it. Where I have to change this kind of "default volume unit"?

Hi Ralf,

please call transaction CUNI for Units of measurement = VOLUME. Look up what Code is marked as SI Unit.

CUNI for volume unit CYD -> SI unit = M3

also:

M3 in the list is marked red and marked as SI unit.

What does that mean? How answers this my question, why CYD is used as default unit?
