Hi everybody

How to connect BODS to Analytics Services and then use MDX

Is it possible to use MDX (Multidimensional Expressions)in BODS , please help me.

Hi Save,

"Can you use SSIS and create a job to extract the data from the cube.and then use it to write a SQL in the SQL transform in bods."

Means, you extract the data from your source system with the help of SSIS package/job. And then once you have this data in sql database you can write a query on top of this for sql transform in BODS and process it further.

There's no MDX support in DS. It supports relational and NRDM models only.

If i understand , there is no way to connect BODS to Analytics Services SSAS and use MDX to request on Cubes .

I have a analysis OBIEE  that based on ssas , then i want to use the physical SQL generated by this analysis and use it in SQL transform
