Calendar Matchcode on Portal using Internet Explorer repeats days

Dear Experts, please help me!

We’ve developed a Webdynpro Abap screen where we use a field to receive calendar date information.

Using the matchcode field, we’re experience an issue related to the dates on October. The matchcode is repeating the dates causing some issues during the input.

This problem occurs only on Internet Explorer.

We're on SAP Portal 7.4.

Has anybody see this issue?

Hi, Siddaharth, thanks for your reply!

   According to the description, the note adjusts the calendar problem. It is the same problem mentioned at the note.

   However, we are on SP008, and there is no patch level to adjust it according to this note.

   So in order to get it adjusted, the only solution is to upgrade the SP level and install the patches of the respective components, is that correct?

you are right it is released for SP09 for Portal basis

You can also raise a OSS message for this  BC-WD-UR as its occuring for lower release and WD ABAP? can you check if it occurs for other date pickers in Java portal side too? or you use only WD ABAP only, for this shortly new note should be relased then.

This issue is occuring in WD Abap only.

The pickers in Java is ok.

I'll talk to the basis team for the next steps and update the topic with the final solution.

We are facing same issue, for October 2015, Oct 3rd is repeated trice in the calendar help.

Hi, Satheesha, I'm sorry the delay.

   Althougth there was no patch level to be applied, we solved the problem.

   Following the instructions from SAP, we got the problem solved after we upgraded the disp+work kernel component on the ECC side.
