Is there a way to influence table order in a Client Copy? We use parallel processing which is great. However, several of our largest tables do not get copied until toward the end of the copy so even though we are using parallel processing we are waiting on one or two very large tables at the end. It seems that if the largest tables could be spread toward the beginning of the copy then the smaller ones would still be done in parallel, and all would finish quicker in the end.
Thanks in advance.
ok, here is the answer to my original question for anyone else that may come along and have the same issue/question. I've tested this and am happy with the results.
There are 8 very large tables that I want to start copying first because they are the longest running.
In SCCL --> Edit --> Expert Settings --> Options tab --> SINGLECOPY "Copy tables with exclusion mode 'S' first" --> checkmark
In SCCL --> Edit --> Expert Settings --> "Copy Individually" tab --> "Client Copy: SINGLECOPY Option Tables" --> list table names (e.g. BKPF, BSAD, BSAS, COEP, FAGLFLEXA)
Save
We run 16 or more parallel copies and can see the big tables chugging away at the same time the smaller ones are racing through.

Hello,
I do not think you can influence the table order in a client copy but it is possible to exclude some tables from the client copy with the report RSCCEXPT. You can then transport these tables manually (with a transport). Please check the following two notes for more information:

What is the larger table size? DB size or client size?

Hello Bruce,
I doubt this is possible. However, you may check SAP Note 446485 - CC-ADMIN: Special copying options and see if using a special copying option helps reduce time.
Thanks.

Anita
