I am willing to take SAP HANA associate level certification.

Please can I know books to be referred  for certification.

Hi Rohith

Go to the website https://training.sap.com/shop/certification/ and check all the certifications available.

All the valid certification exams are available in the link

When you go into the details of each certification, it would give you the book names.

search  for above book code.

I want to know difference between HANA APPLICATION associate and TECHNOLOGY associate certification , which one is appropriate .

sap certified APPLICATION ASSOCIATE ( edition - 2015 ) is this version good to take ?

Hi Rohith

If you are BW consultant, you should go with the application associate certification.

Below will give you more details and there are lot more information available in SDN. please search for them.

Application Associate is more on the application of HANA software in the client's/business requirement which includes data modelling, reporting, implementation of HANA, creation of tables/views for business users.

Technology associate certification covers a lot of technical and operational details around SAP HANA. This will be more benefit for SAP Basis consultants and related people. It covers more on technical terms of memory management and installation of HANA.

Hence you should choose the application associate one and yes 2015 is good version to start with.

The certification will be on HANA SPS06.

Be clear that which certificate you are going to attempt as now two HANA Certificates are avialable:

C_HANAIMP_1 and C_HANAIMP131

As you have SPS05 based document, it will certainly help you to prepare but with HANA SPS06, many new things were introduced, you can check What's New in HANA SPS06 here
