Alert message to third party contact person

Hi All,

Is it possible for us to send a particular message to Third party person through alert mail when the erroneous situation occurred in XI due to the source information is wrong?

What are the pre-requisites need to be configured in XI system to do this.

We have done this for the sap-user; want to ensure whether this is possible for external user also?

Can you please explaine how you did for the sap-user.

I though , while creating the alertcategory , you can select the type of category as IS and sub category as your requirement.and give the mail id in su01 , and give the specific user in alert config

To forward the alerts to Email's this what needs to be done,

1. Go to SU01 and assign the Email ID to the reciepient of the Alert ( sap-user ) in this case.

2. Log on to the Alert Inbox of this user --> Personlization ---> Time Independent Delivery --> Email.

3. Now, the Alert will be forwarded as a Email whenevr tyhe alert coems to the Alert Inbox.
