VBOF Error, FI posting not allowed.

Can anyone help me on this?

I got this error and my user don't want this error from repeat again.

My user getting an error FI: posting not allowed (Sys. status CLSD, object VB006001399500001) for 2 billing document when running tcode VBOF.

I' checking the sales order (return) 60013995 I found the status in each line item was CLSD MtoO RESA SETC.

How to prevent this error from happend again?

What is the key that trigger this error?

Appreciate your help. Really need your advice.

Hi to everybody who read.

I have got a solution for issue above.

Referring to the error message:-

FI: posting not allowed (Sys. status CLSD, object VB006001399500001)

The error meaning:-

Fi: posting not allowed = The posting not done yet in FI (FB03)

Sys. status CLSD, object VB006001399500001 =

This error referring to the object VB006001399500001 is having order 60013995 and line item 10.

So what is the system trying to tell you that VBOF cannot run properly due to sales order (return order) have item status CLSD.

Solution:-

Click on the pencil icon. Click on reset.

Save the sales order.

Run the VBOF again. It work perfectly on mine.

FYI:

VBOF only allow to work on REL status.

System status for my company we customize to be only in return order. Maybe you should check yours.

Hi,

The status of the Item in the Return Order is "CLSD" - CLOSED and because of it the corresponding Billing document cannot be updated in VBOF.

As the regeneration of Rebate  Agreement through VBOF is sensitive in a PRD system it is better to consult with SAP.
