Please check following standard BAdi.

BAdi Definition: BADI_RECN_CONTRACT controls all behaviour of Contract mater in RE-FX.

It includes 9 methods which are deserved to check in your operating system

CHECK_ALL	Performa Additional Checks (Validation)
SUBSTITUTE	Change or Add to Data (Substitution)
GET_NUMBER	Determine Contract Number with Internal Number Assignment
AFTER_STORE	Perform Further Actions After Saving
BEFORE_DELETE	Carry Out Additional Checks Before Deletion
AFTER_DELETE	Delete Data From Additional Tables
AFTER_OBJECT_REL_CHANGE	Change or Add Data After Changing Object Assignment
GET_BEHAVIOR_CONTEXT	Gets Behavior Context for a Contract
CHANGE_FM_DOCUMENT_DATA	Change Data of an Earmarked Funds Document

Need to more check on method of 'SUBSTITUTE'

Substitute method is executed at all three events defined in ID_EVENT_TYPE parameter.

  I: When Initializing a New Object

M: During Manual Call of Function via the Interface

S: Before Saving the Object

To understand the issue clearly please share screenshot as requested below and let us know whether this issue are coming only for some of the contracts (or contract type) or for all contracts (or contract type):-

1. Posting parameter term of Contract before activation of contract and after activation of contract

2. Screenshot from config (IMG) of “Define Tax Types” , “Default Value for Tax Rate per Contract Type” and screenshot of "Define Contract Types"
