NWBC - Side Panels

I am trying to add a side panel to a transaction. A new role has been created via PFCG, in it I assign transaction XD03 and add a Web Dynpro Application. When I try to create the configuration object, I get the pop up window and add BSSP_CHIP_CATALOG. When I try to proceed I then get the error message shown below. Any ideas?

Cracked it. needed to tick on a couple of parameters in object WD_GLOBAL_PARAMETERS

Moved on some now. Above error related to lack of a developer key. Now have the panel appearing OK against relevant transaction, but with no data. I have created the tag in NWBC_VC_GUI_TAG using details from GUI collector tool.
