Hi,
I have created a material as trading goods. i've created a sales order,after that if i cannot create a delivery with reference to that sales order.
it says that material is not delivery related.
and how to configure a material as delivery related and how to create an outbound delivery automatically when u save a sales order.
kindly help me out this issue
Hi Shankar,
Check you material master record - sales org 2 - item category group. Chances are that you might have wrongly selected a service item or a text item which are not deliverable.
As an SAP standad it should be NORM.

Hi Shankar,
Please check your item category used is Item Relevant for delivery or not in the following path.
SPRO-->SD -->Sales -->Sales Documents --> Sales Document Item --> Define Item Categories --> Here please ensure that your Item Category Ex:- TAN
Here Please ensure that the Check box is ticked - Item Relevant for Delivery.
And also check the Item category Determintion in the same above given path
Assign Item Categories

You have to determine a deliverable item category, using item category group in material master. As stated in other posts NORM is ok.
