Hello Experts,
please define clearly landscape methods in sap pm module.
Hi,
SAP PM System Landscape is divided in to two parts -
1. Servers
2. clients
Server - Basically There are three SERVERS Development, Quality & Production.
Development as suggested is for use of developers and for unit testing purpose along with sandbox client.
Quality is basically for integration testing purpose, it contains a copy of client data as in production for testing purpose. Its basically display only server.
Production is the final when as used by the client after go-live.
Clients - These Servers are further divided into clients e.g. Development Server -
Development client,
Testing client,
Sandbox Client,
Configuration client,
Conversion Client,
Security client, Etc.
Basically, client number depends on the Client requirement & BASIS configured it.

Vivek
