Must every WBS in an Investment Project create a unique AUC asset?

Hello.

Must every WBS in an investment project create an AUC asset, or is it possible for assets to be created only at higher level nodes? It seems unnecessarily cumbersome, for a large project, to deal with an AUC asset for each WBS in the structure.

Hello David,

There is no such requirement. You can decide what specific WBS-elements will get corresponding AuC.

Most of complex projects are always a mix of CAPEX and OPEX, besides not every WBS is an account assignment elements.

Hi, David,

Its really not required AUC for every WBS in project.

So just enter investment profile for the only that WBS which you need AUC in CJ20n. If the WBS element assigned with Investment profile is released, system will automatically create AUC at background.

Remove investment profile from project profile.
