Do we need to install BEX Analyzer 7.4

Dear Team,

We have BW 7.4 on HANA and  we are using the BEX Analyser version 7.30 to run the queries

Is there any performance difference in running the BEX queries in BEX Analyzer 7.30 & BEX Analyzer 7.4.

Do we need to install BEX Analyzer 7.4 version compulsorily to run the queries on bw 7.4 on HANA? if yes can you guide me the steps to install the same.

Hi Suresh,

I guess we do not need to install BEx analyzer 7.4 and there is no performance issue even if you are using version 7.3 .

Hi Suresh,

Full support for SAP GUI for Windows 7.30 ended on July 15, 2015. Until 31st of October 2015 restricted support applies (see SAP note 147519 for more information).

Recommended to upgrade you GUI to 7.4.
