Transportation Connection Point

Dear Gurus,

My client is exporting from KSA to China.

I have 3 stages

1. Plant to KSA port           (Preliminary leg)

2. KSA port to China port   (main leg)

3. China port to customer   (subsequent leg)

I have 3 transportation connection point

Z000001 - Plant

Z000002 - KSA Port

Z000003 - China Port

While I am maintain it in the route stages, i have done like this,

Route: WET00312

stage1. Z000001 - Plant to Z000002 KSA Port

stage2. Z000002 - KSA Port to Z000003 China Port

What is the 3rd step or stage, because actually 3rd step is China Port to Customer, but I can not maintain customer, or I feel its not feasible to create a transportation connection point as Customer, and assign here.

Its really confusing for me, please advise, if I maintaining the 3rd stage and leaving destination field blank system cant not save the route stage.

Hello Imran,

I feel you don't need to maintain the stages for the china port to customer because by default, system would consider ship-to party and move the stock based on ship-to party address.

Likewise, it would consider vendor address in the initial stage, hope this helps.

Thanks for your response.

Issue resolve to the customer as a transportation connection point,

But right now what happen that system cant create the primarily leg, it create correct main leg and subsequent leg.

I am try all my level to check why it not generating the primarily leg, pls advise, I am stuck over here.

Looking for the gurus feedback.
