Purchase order getting deleted on change in the sales order

Dear experts,

We are facing issue in the production system where the Purchase order that was created automatically when the sales order was created is getting deleted on changing the sales order.

In the sales order line item when the user tries to enter the reason code "318", the same line line gets deleted from the purchase order.

Can you please guide me how to go forward in finding the issue.

Rachit,

Seems you are working with third-party scenario where in line item category you have activated "create PO automatically".

Thereafter when you put 318 could be reason of rejection or order reason (though you have not specified what reason and where but I am assuming) it checks for open PO against sales order and is deleting it could be cause of enhancement. Is this happening in quality environment? If yes check with your ABAPer to debug one example.
