GRC10.0 decentralized EAM- log mails not sent to controller

Hi Gurus,

I have SAP 10.0 SP16. We have implemented decentralized EAM.

Very weird situation:

FF login notification sent to owner correctly.

FF logs are captured in target system in STAD & SM20. FF logs are collected in GRC box which is visible in table GRACFFLOG  & table GRACACTUSAGE.

If I run job for action usage & ff log sync & master data sync it runs successfully. but SOST no mails are triggered for controller.

Tried solution:

(1) RFC user has required authorization (S_TOOL_EX) with SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW authorization.

(2) time zones are same for target system & GRC system.

(3) SU01 for controller has proper email id (also for FF user/owner/FF id)

(4) FF log sync job run after 6 hours of interval. Also tried for 2 hours of interval ( As STAD has data for only 2 hrs)

(5) Checked the logs in SLG1. All looks in green. No error

(6) WF-BATCH user has SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW

(7) Since the issue is boggling since many days I gave controller autho. of SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW.

Hi,

Check the GRACACTUSAGE table for your target connector, and see if your user ids are not "-- ? --", if this is the case add S_TOOLS_EX authorization to your RFC user,

User ids are good in table GRACACTUSAGE. Also RFC user has authorization for S_TOOLS_EX

Notifications are created for every session of a FF id, and the log sync job can create this, only if session is concluded before its run.

Yes the jobs are run after 1 hour of session completion. so it should pick up the logs.

Hi,

Please make sure that delivery option of controller is set to "workflow" not email in NWBC>setup>controllers.

Hi,

ensure parameter 4009 is YES, and SMTP is setup. Let us know, if 4007 is YES/NO

Do you see desired entries in FF log summary/Consolidated reports

I see entries in FF log summary report for each log in but if i go to session details its blank. Also consolidated report is blank.

hi, i recently saw this problem resolved, by removing the associated locks in SM12, and re-running the log sync job. Could you check, if your log sync jobs have failed

Unfortunately my sync job runs good.

one more wierd observation: I created new FF ID (test FF ID) with same owner & controller. When i ran FF ID & ran all jobs, actually log report triggered but it sent the log for today's first FF log in which was not by this test FF ID.

I think, the log report triggers from SOST when diff FF ID comes in queue but send report for first login of the day (FIFO manner)

little weird, I hope i can explain it.

any suggestion?

to add in,

SPM log sync runs successfully as posted in snapshot but it takes 0 second always

SAP gurus,

just got one observation: crosschecked for 4 times.

1. I ran FF log with IBM_FF_ABAP once in morning but log report didnt generate.

2. I created new users IBM_FF_test & run jobs. Log generated but for IBM_FF_ABAP.

3. I created new user, IBM_FF_TEST1 & run job, log generated but for IBM_FF_TEST.

so log do generate but for previous user that too if i create new user.

any conclusion on this? please suggest

Hi,

what is your Notification type for controller ? IF it is workflow, do you have agent id set for Controller, for event REQUEST_SUBMIT at Process level or in 1st stage of FF log review request?

Notification type is email. Also it is decentralized (So No MSMP/workflow)

Thanks for response but notification type is set to email as it doesnt generate workflow but triggers email.

Also controller is also maintained in NWBC.

it worked once or twice in past but after that no luck

Also for a note: I am not able to add 5033 parameter to GRC box
