Entering more Quantity during counting

Hi ,

I am doing Physical inventory for Handling Unit for a serialized Material in Warehouse Management and I want to enter more quantity than the physically available quantity while doing the counting through HUINV03 transaction . But I am getting an error message " you can't determine serialized material " . Can any one please suggest how to enter more qty for a serialized material for HU during counting in HUINV03 .

Hello,

could you please confirm whether you have cases like nested HU's; hierarchical HU's; multi-level HU's using which you are trying to do physical inventory?

I am new to Handling Unit Management . can you please let me know what is the difference between Nested HU , Hierarchical HU and multilevel HU ?
