Hi Expert,
We have bifurcated our material codes into different codes for excise reason, however the material is same. From example if we want to sell the under duty, under non duty, under advance license etc. Then we have created three codes of one common material.
Also we have bifurcated our materials codes into different codes due to its quality variation. For example, Standard and Non-standard. If the material pass the standard then it get sold to customer and if it does not then it is sent to other customer.
Due to the above issue we are not able to plan the material as per our requirement. For example if I have to set the safety stock or minimum stock then how it is possible with multiple codes.
Kindly share your thoughts to this type of issue.

Hello
Have tried with SOP with product group(PG) Planning. You need to create One PG for these materials and specify the % of proportion ,so that Plan will be distributed accordingly. This can be transferred to Demand management for further MRP processing.
