HCI - Test failed for connection with IBP datastore

Hi all,

In HCI, I have added the only datastore with type "SAP HANA application cloud", which is the IBP tenant of our customer.

When I test the connection with default configuration, I get the following error message :

Test failed for the default configuration 'default' of datastore : 'Customer_Name': [10]: invalid username or password

My HCI user has the following roles:

- Production Operator

- Administrator

- Integration Developer

Any ideas what might be the cause of the problem?

I guess it's a configuration issue in the link between HCI and IBP tenant?

Hi Pierre,

Were you able to select the Instance from the drop-down list?

Maybe the connection between this HCI organization and IBP was not yet created.

Yes, I was able to select the IBP instance from the drop-down list.

I suppose I have to contact SAP to create the connection between HCI and IBP ?

Are the settings similar ?

If yes, then I would recommend to raise an OSS.

Yes, the settings are exactly the same.

I will open an OSS and update this post once my issue is solved.
