SAP HANA Support for SLES 11 SP4

Hello everybody,

right now we are trying to implement SAP HANA on TDI.

We are facing now some issues while creating an iso image.

I am wondering if SAP ist supporting SAP HANA on SLESS 11 SP4?

I can't find anything on the Internet.

Does anybody know that?

Hi Mathias,

SLES 11 SP3 is one of the most common OS versions used for HANA that I have come across

The support for SLES 11 SP4 is available from SAP based on the below SAP note and the extract seen below. Here SAP Recognizes the availability of SLES 11 SP4 and suggests the use of the latest Service pack

Having said that I have seen an internal communication from hardware vendor(that I cannot share) to use SLES 11 SP3 and move to SLES 12 for newer systems so I suggest you confirm this with SAP Support before deploying it as a TDI setup
